Skidoo Tundra Oil Mix Problem

Install Tools for Eclipse UML2

Today, in class of "Software Engineering: Design," I have been forced to use Eclipse to create UML diagrams (class, activity, ...). Eclipse does not bring the default for this option installed, so I'll explain in this mini-tutorial:

  1. Open Eclipse, and we will Help -> Install new software

  2. the dropdown menu above (where says "Work with") selected the official server Galileo. If you do not have (which is most likely), click on "Add." In "Name" put "Galileo" (or whatever you want, but you find it easy to identify), and "Location" put the following URL: http://download.eclipse.org/releases/galileo

  3. Now, we select the menu.

  4. In the box below, look for the menu "Modeling", open it and mark the packages "UML2 Tools SDK" and "Extend UML2 SDK." Press "Next" and then "Finish." This will start the installation process.

  5. If you are asked to accept the user license agreement, select one of them, mark the option to accept, and press "Next".

  6. When the installation finishes you will have to restart Eclipse. Accepted.

done this and will enable Eclipse to create UML diagrams. Remember that to create a new diagram, we have to go File -> New -> Other , and find the new form different diagram types under the "UML 2.1 Diagrams."
