I'm new here to tell you some things. While the former will wish you all a happy 2010. That you succeed you have everything you proposed.
This year, as before, I spent New Year's Eve in my town, Villanueva de la Fuente (Ciudad Real). I've been birding rather limited, since the weather has not been accompanied at all. Took more than a fortnight raining when I arrived, and meteorology would not make an exception for me. Moreover, all this time the rain has left some roads impassable, so little time birding and over not where I would have liked. But anyway, the way things are.
what resrva Day 31 for a visit to source of the river World. Rafa recommended in his blog: Rafa's nest and he makes a good descirpición of what is there, so I do not think that I need to entertain me more with that. Just thank once again the recommendation and put a few photos:
As the birds could see little because it never stopped raining the whole time, and cold is to do little, so we're going to cheat. Only agate (Certhia brachydactyla , Short-toed treecreeper), some finches (Fringilla coelebs , Chaffinch) and little else dared to go.
I liked locate some copies of yew (Taxus baccata , Yew). Above this, they stood firm in the middle of the river despite the strength of it.
Other days I short visits to different sites. A naval near my town had not cuantÃsimos dry years (it was now a lake with all of the Act), the Salinas de Pinilla (full of water but not a bird to take the binoculars) and orchards near my people.
few species that note, perhaps Wagtail (Motacilla Cinere a, Grey wagtail) or yellow-legged gulls (Larus cachinnans , Yellow-legged gull) and laughing ( Chroicocephalus ridibundus, Black-headed gull) that was in the naval of my people (I had never seen here).
And always washed down with some birds that brighten up the view here in Valencia because I can not find as magpies ( Cyanopica cooki, Azure-winged magpie) or Sparrow ( Passer hispanoliensis , English sparrow)
